Tulsi Capsules by Planet Ayurveda are prepared using standardised extract of Ocimum sanctum (Tulsi). It is also known as holy basil and it belongs to the Lamiaceae family. The other names of this herb are gauri, Bhutaghani, sulabha, sumanjari, bahumanjari and haripriya. It has a pungent and bitter taste and hot potency. This herb balances vata and kapha dosha but increases pitta dosha. It is kapha vinashini, ruchi krit, Hrudya, krumihara and kasahara.
