Shothari Loha is an Ayurvedic formulation which is being prepared according to the classical texts. The formulation is described in bhaishajya ratnavali. As its name suggests “Shothari” which means it is potent enough to subside the inflammation, occurring due to any reason. Its effective results can be seen in both internal or external inflammation.

Contraindications

The use of this formulation is to be done under expert supervision.
In children it can also be given in reduced doses.
In pregnant and lactating women administration of this formulation is to be avoided.
