Karela Capsule is a single herbal capsule preparation prepared using standardised extract of karela (Momordica charantia). It is also known as karvellaka, kathillam, kandira, sukanada, Ugra kanda and in the English language it is known as bitter gourd. The flowers of this herb are yellow in colour and the fruit has triangular ridges outside. It has a bitter and pungent taste and it assists in managing kapha and pitta dosha in the body. Due to its bitter taste it helps in alleviating prameha roga.
